  1. Ensure that you have the most recent, legal version of The Sims 4.
  2. Delete any existing Omegaverse file from your Mods folder, except for the Jamjars Omegaverse Settings.cfg file, if you have one.
If you don’t have a Settings file, don’t worry. Omegaverse will create one when you first load up your game.
  3. Extract the files from the [Jamjars] file into your Mods folder.
Simply using the “replace” option in Windows Explorer is highly unadvised. Delete and extract fresh!
  4. Place the three files (there will be two package files and a script file) into their own sub-folder in /Mods, like below.
If you have an alternative organisation for your Mods folder that works, that may also be possible. But if you are having trouble with the mod, this is a confirmed working setup.
  5. Delete your localthumbcache.package.
  6. Load up your game and enjoy your A/B/O sims!

Great Minds

Of course, I couldn’t have found my way through modding alone. Whilst I’m not able to thank everyone who told me every little bit and the author of every single article and tutorial I’ve looked through, these are some honourable mentions who I would’ve been hopelessly lost without.

A massive shout out to Basemental, creator of Basemental Drugs and Gangs, for his amazing patience when dealing with my inane questions and helping me through my bugs.

A special mention to Scumbumbo, Andrew, and LittleMsSam.
